Responsibilities
Apply first tape to wound coils (by hand using hand tools)
Attach Lead Wires to Coils (by hand)
Solder Lead Wires (dip soldering)
Tape Down Lead Wires and Apply Final tape to coils (by hand in fixtures)
Apply Final Tape (run tape application machine)
Assembly of Coils into housings, epoxy and glue (by hand with tools and fixtures)
Test Coils (following test instructions)
Required Skills
Follow Verbal (Spanish or English) and Written Instructions to assemble based on work orders, customer specifications and prints (Basic English Reading Skills)
Manual Dexterity and ability to work with hands on various sized coils from ¼" diameter to 1.5" diameter.
Ability to use rulers, calipers and other measuring tools to assure proper dimensions of coils.
Corrective lenses may be required for close up work. Some work is done under magnification.
Detailed work with emphasis on quality and production efficiency.
